Katie Knight
I joined Hayes Connor in 2019 following a successful career in personal injury litigation.
As a Litigation Executive, I handle a diverse caseload of data breach and privacy matters including cyber security breaches, medical data breaches and claims against local authorities.
During my time at Hayes Connor, I have had a strong success rate in obtaining substantial damages for my clients who, in turn, have provided very positive feedback.
Since GDPR came into force in 2018, the law governing data protection and privacy has seen constant change in its procedures and we are starting to see more judgments coming out of the courts.
I find this fascinating as it means that I am able to use my legal knowledge and skills, apply them to my caseload and obtain the best possible results for my clients.
Career
Whilst working in the field of personal injury I dealt with a wide variety of cases from Road Traffic Accidents to public and employment liability claims with varying values.
I was therefore able to adapt my knowledge and experience into data protection law.
Personal Interests
When I'm not in work I love spending time with my family and socialising with my friends.
I am also a big music fan and love attending concerts and festivals.
