Erin Tinsley
I started at Hayes Connor in January 2019 as a trainee paralegal in our Legal Services Team. During this time, I assisted our Fee Earners in progressing their cases and in doing so learnt important skills which have assisted in my development.
Since joining Hayes Connor, I have progressed from my original role to become a Litigation Executive and I now handle my own caseload of varied data breach matters.
I have a particular interest in cyber security cases and have assisted in a number of the group action cyber cases we have handled. This has provided me with some excellent learning opportunities and I have enjoyed helping to reach a successful conclusion for the clients involved.
Being involved in these matters has given me the opportunity to use my skills and experience to help our clients to the best of my ability.
Career
I started my legal career as an office junior at the age of sixteen working in the field of personal injury at Forster Dean.
In my time at Forster Dean, I shadowed a number of experienced Solicitors, and I gained a good grounding in civil litigation, which I have built upon in order to assist my data breach clients and obtain positive results in their claims.
To further advance my legal career, I am undertaking my CPQ (CILEX Professional Qualification). This has allowed me to develop my legal knowledge and apply it to my cases.
I am enjoying the course and cannot wait to gain the full qualification and I hope to continue my successful career at Hayes Connor.
Personal Interests
When I am not in work, I enjoy travelling with my friends and family.
I am a current season ticket holder for Bolton Wanderers Football Club and I also love supporting my rugby club, St Helens R.F.C.
I enjoy keeping fit and active and I have recently started cooking and exploring different types of food and dishes.
